And all this is because of the power and reverse engineering needed to emulate the Cell BE CPU inside the PS3. ![]() When they do this Sony states PS1, PS2 and PSP games will be backwards compatible on the service with about 600 games available at relaunch in June. PS Plus is incorporating and enlarging PS Now in June. Well not can’t, they don’t want to because of the years of effort it would take for them to develop an emulator within the system. Even Sony can’t emulate their own PS3 system with their hardware. ![]()
